Seafoid is a free Mac application that will allow you to easily calculate a resistor's value using its color bands, and the P, U, I and R (power, voltage, amperage and resistance) of a resistor.

Software features of "Seafoid":
· calculate resistors' values from their color bands
· calculate the total resistance of serial and parallel connections
· calculate the voltage (U), amperage (I), power (P) and resistance (R) in every direction
· calculate the value of the right dropping resistor for LEDs

NOTE: Please note that the calculation of power, resistance, voltage and amperage doesn't yet work in every direction.
