This is a program for enhancing self-knowledge. It presents 83 multiple-choice questions about your interests, outlook on life and how you respond in various circumstances. It analyzes and synthesizes answers to determine to what degree you express each of seven types'these are the seven psychological types (rays) developed in various books on the subject, most notably writings of Alice A. Bailey. The program gives a graphic representation of your type, a bar graph of the relative strength of each of the seven in your character expression. It also gives four pages of character description together with suggestions for inner growth and self-improvement. Self Search is a character assessment tool with metaphysical implications, based on transpersonal psychology. Self Search was the subject of a doctoral dissertation study: 'Psychological Assessment Of Personality Types' and shows significant correlations with Myers-Briggs, The Sixteen PFI, etc.
